BERNARDO FOOTWEAR

Encouraged by Vogue's Diana Vreeland, architect Bernard Rudofsky debuted his first collection in 1946, marking the creation of modern sandals for women. His art- and architecture-influenced designs were popular with jet setters and fashion icons during the style-obsessed midcentury decades, and today's collections offer modern interpretations based on those celebrated originals.

I like this brand (thus far) and keep items on my wishlist to consider when they go on sale. Look seems to be fairly basic, but appears comfortable style. I am not sure there is really anything special enough to warrant the price, but hopefully the quality may. I was able to snag this on considerable sale.
