Belted Animal Print Jacket

I love how the pattern is subtle as far as animal print goes. It’s a good length and the buttons are hidden. There’s no back vent but it doesn’t feel restrictive or anything so it doesn’t really need it. It’s only 40% wool but most coats are blends nowadays so it’s reasonable for the sale price. It’s July so no idea how warm it is yet. I went 1 size down and can fit comfortably a sweater underneath with no restrictions or discomfort. My only minor complaint is how the belt loops seem too big. You can see it on the model but they stick out pretty far when you tie the belt. Not a huge deal but just a minor detail I noticed when trying it on

I want to gatekeep this jacket because it’s that fabulous! Looks like an expensive designer coat absolutely worth the price. Just one note is that it runs very big. I am usually a size Medium in jackets and a size 28 inch waist but in this coat I needed an X-Small!!!

Loved the print, color and material. Order my usual size and it was way too large. Returning and reordered in size down - waiting for it to arrive. Shoulders were less fitted than I expected.

I agree with most all of the other reviewers in that this is a lovely coat. It’s perfect for fall or a mild winter, as it’s not a heavy fabric, but it is lined. It looks and feels much more high end than it is. Classy and refined. I am 5’4”, medium, 38C, 150 pounds, but I have a wider back and shoulders for my shape. I ordered the small based on reviews, but I find it a little snug in the shoulders. It could work, but I could not have, say, a suit blazer on underneath and feel comfortable, especially driving and having my arms extended. It fits fine everywhere else, though. So I can see how others would feel it runs big, especially if you have narrower shoulders. So I reordered in the medium. Also, shout out to Nordstrom for the price adjustment. When I ordered it was on sale for $119, but while awaiting arrival, it went down to $83! Ladies, snatch this beauty up while you can! It’s a no brainer at $83. I’m thrilled I ran across it.

Well, I’m not in complete agreement with some of the reviews. For me, I’m going to be styling this coat differently. I think if you wanted to wear it belted very tightly with only a thin layer of clothing under it, you may want to size down. I am normally a small and was able to try on both the small and extra small at a Nordstrom store. The extra small fit me, however, I thought the top portion of the bodice that meets the sleeves pulled a little bit. I personally was looking for a coat that had a long and lean chic designer fit. I want to wear this coat with a pullover sweater, jeans, and some new tall black boots I recently purchased from Nordstrom. I have no desire to wear the belt and will have the coat open as the model does in one of the photos. I like that look and that’s how I will style it. By the way, the animal print is very subtle and this looks just like a beautifully textured deep brown and black coat. I have to say I’m very happy with my purchase!

Loved the print and quality. But it’s quite over sized. Not sure even going down a size is enough.
