Quincy Boot (Women)

This is a new brand for me. I like the style of this boot. The leather and suede are very soft. The goldtone hardware in the back of the boot looks really nice. The zipper is smooth. The best feature is the different widths offered. I ordered a size 11 wide and the fit is perfect. Also, the heel is not too high for me to wear for a few hours ( i have achilles tendinitis in my left foot). Overall, i will order more shoes from this brand.

The piece that connects the two sides of metal were found loose in the box upon arrival. I tried to put it back together but I’m not sure it will stay. Of course the was the last one in my size (and now I know why). Not sure whether to brainstorm a way to secure this, or just return.. Also the toggle while reviewing these won’t let me adjust the fit to be slightly small. Maybe if you wear thin socks that will be a more to true size fit. They felt a little tight to me.

I wore these once around the house and immediately lost the screw holding the bridle buckle on one boot. Then the cat scratched the smooth leather-which is not leather-and I can’t repair what was supposed to be leather. The sole is also very thin and would require a proper scuff-up to not slip on any marble or smooth floors. Really disappointed.
