Bed Stu
Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

I returned these because I
I returned these because I did not like the style. I have bought several pairs of BedStu in the past and really like them. But the newer ones lately are more uncomfortable and the styles are not that great

I returned these because I
I returned these because I did not like the style. I have bought several pairs of BedStu in the past and really like them. But the newer ones lately are more uncomfortable and the styles are not that great

Looks good. Poor quality
Looks great. Owned it for a year and did not wear too often. When they finally broke in, I noticed the hole between the sole and the boot. Very disappointing for such high price and seemngly good company.

Nice boots but the tanning is very bad
I purchased a pair of Dreck TAUPE RUSTIC MASON BFS colored booths. The boots are nice, but the gray tanning is coming off at every light scuffing after only one week of use. I'm not sure if I got a bad pair of shoes or if this vegetable tanning is very long-lasting. One airport security guard inquired as to why I had hand painted my shoes. This is my second pair of BedStu, but I'm not sure I'll buy another due to the tanning system they use.

Great shoe!
I have worn these shoes several times and they feel comfortable. The look has a nice mix of old school and contemporary design and they look good casual or with semi formal wear. It is a little snug along the sides of the foot at first but that is expected and they feel good now. Would recommend Bed Stu to anyone!

Seam started to come apart within 3 months
I bought these boots and they were delivered quickly. They look and feel amazing. Very comfortable and they look just like the pictures. Within 3 months of purchase one of the front seams started to come apart. Love everything about these boots and they are so close the being a great boot. The quality of the boot is the only thing that has failed.
