Great boot, but not for me
Really cute boot and well made. I returned for 2 reasons: I followed the guidance of others to size up and that was a mistake. They were too big. Secondly, because I'm 5'2" they are about an inch and a half too tall for an ankle boot on me. They cut into my leg and make it look shorter than it is. The upper part of the leather is thinner, but the rest of the boot is pretty thick and solid.

cuter in person and comfy cool!
these are my go-to boots on that rare “oh wait, black boots don’t work with this outfit” occasion. :-) i have an average to wide foot size 8-8.5/39 and i grabbed an 8.5 for a perfect fit. love the zips on both sides; they didn’t take took too long to break in and now i can pretty well slide on and off.
the color is akin to like a marbled slate/tan river rock. i’m happy it’s not distinctly two tone beige and grey.

Love the look, but not the fit...
So loose and wide in the heel area that my heels slip and get blistered despite using multiple heel pads! And it’s not that these boots are the wrong size - they fit snug everywhere else. I have about 10 pairs of Bedstu boots / shoes and these are the worst fit by far. Really huge in heel area, while quite snug and narrow in the toe area. Bizzare.
