The description of this product (the bikini bottoms, not the top) is a little contradictory, reading: "Swimwear sizing is smaller than apparel sizing; order one size UP" and then describing the sizes as "XS=2-4, S=6, M=8-10, L=12." The description of this product said to size up, but the swimsuit sizes appeared to be sized down vs. what they would normally be (i.e. normally XS= 0-2, S=2-4, M=6, etc.). I usually wear size small, or 2-4 or 26-27. Even though the description of the product said S=6, I went with a small. They are definitely on the bigger side and I have to tie the side strings as tight as they will go to make them fit right. That being said, when I tie them this way, the bottoms are comfortable and flattering and fit just fine, and I will be keeping them. I would just recommend who is also my size consider buying an XS instead. On another note, the color is nice, but a bit more on the orange side (I think the picture makes them appear more red than they actually are).

I am always between 110-115 lbs. I have a small but wider behind. I ordered the small and they fit fine. However, the fit of the back is strange. It's not exactly that they are baggy, but more like they move and go in the butt crack. It's not like you're wearing a thong, but they get bunchy for me in the crack area (I know it sounds weird). I'm still undecided on keeping them or not. The top is great though and I love the color.

I am 5'5", 115lbs and ordered a SMALL; was looking for a suit that was flattering for a younger mom like myself, but didn't want my behind hanging out. These bottoms provide enough coverage that I don't look skimpy, and also have great style and comfort. The bottoms don't sag in the butt like some other reviewers wrote. When adjusted properly, they offer good coverage without being a typical bikini brief. The fabric is extremely thick and of high quality.

You wouldn't think it would be difficult to find a good pair of side tie bikini bottoms but I've had trouble finding ones that weren't too low, had enough coverage without looking old lady, etc. This are perfect. Good fabric thickness, sexy coverage without showing too much

I ordered both a small and medium to see which one would fit best. I'm a size 4 and the small fit the best.

Paired this with the Becca triangle top in black. I am 5'9" and 128 lbs and got the size Small. I actually ordered the S and M and found no major difference between the two except that the S didn't bunch up in the butt and the M did a little. Don't expect a lot of butt coverage from this bottom - but I am happy with the way it looks. It sits very low on the hips. Not built for any major beach / outdoor activity as I wouldn't trust it to stay in place but great for lounging at the pool / laying in the sun.
