What it is: A lightweight, multipurpose gel-cream with Double Bubble technology that wraps skin in stress-relieving marine extracts and tropical superfoods.

What it does: It helps reduce the visible effects of stress, including redness, breakouts, accelerated wrinkling, excessive dryness and enlarged pores. Double Bubble, the brand's unique two-fold delivery system, traps excess oil in the outer bubble while propelling hydrating active ingredients encased in the inner bubble toward deeper layers of the skin to provide instant balance and calm. Been using Zen since it launched
I saw some reviewers say the container is odd. The container component is an “airless” pump because the ingredients work best when they are not exposed to air . DO NOT open it to get at the cream. Sometimes with airless pumps you have to clear away the product from the hole it comes out of to let the pump ‘breathe’ so to speak so it can use the vacuum motion to deliver more product. Also sometimes based on how much is going to come out you have have to ‘feed’ some up by pressing a quarter of a press instead of a full pump a few times to feed up some of the product. How much it dispenses may seem like not enough but it is.
I have oily-combination skin- being totally oil-free is unrealistic. Our skin makes oil for a purpose and so to focus on balancing the oil on our face rather then expect an oil free moisturizer to leave you matte by the end of the day is unrealistic especially if you are oily/combo skin type. What this one does is provide an environment for other actives to do the heavy lifting if you have specific skin concerns. Overall it’s a really great, user-friendly, intro to luxury moisturizer that moisturizes and balances skin without complicating your routine. People that have allergic reactions are probably sensitive to the marine actives or floral extracts. The most sensitive person should really only use skincare that’s prescribed to them by a dermatologist which is usually only 1 or 2 steps. The average person with no sensitivities in particular can use this for it’s intended purpose and expect the results and benefits it claims.

I love it
