What it is: A multi-use sponge is designed for a seamless application of foundations for a naturally flawless, professional-effect finish.

What it does: This luxurious, high-performance sponge has an indulgently soft texture and can be used with concealers, blush and foundation.

How to use: The curved side is specifically for use on facial contours—apply foundation little by little with a light dabbing motion and smooth it evenly on the skin. The small flat side—put an appropriate amount of blush or contouring on the sponge and blur and blend it well on the cheeks and jaw line. The tip—apply concealer or foundation on the skin and gently blend it in the areas of concern, such as the sides of the nose and under the eyes. The bottom surface—after applying products such as blush or foundation, use the bottom surface to blend them on the skin with a light dabbing motion.

Won't break down and fall apart

I have had this sponge for 8 months now and I love it. It's a really unique texture. It doesn't feel like other sponges which is a good thing. I can wash this sponge against a makeup brush cleaner mat and it doesn't tear apart. Doing so gets the look back to brand new. And my fingernails don't ruin it when I squeeze the water out. The sponge works really well to for dabbing and spreading. It absorbs far less of the product inside the sponge, unlike traditional spongy applicators. So... your money is going ON your face not INTO the sponge! I also like that it comes with a little stand so that you can set it down on a surface while you're doing your makeup and not worry about germs on the bottom end. I am going to buy another one for my travel kit.

The better choice

If you are looking for a sponge that won’t cause your eczema dry patches to flake when touched then just get this sponge and throw away any other inferior quality sponge that you have! You might think, “it’s just a sponge so it won’t matter if I just get anything that’s cheaper!” No, that’s where you’re wrong! I have used the cult followed Beautyblender in both the original and pro versions but both weren’t soft enough for my dry skin! This on the other hand has a unique shape with a flat area as well that gives good coverage and softness that is incomparable to any other on the market!

best makeup sponge ever

The shape and texture are ideal. I've never been able to apply my foundation with such ease and precision. They're expensive so I don't buy as often as I'd like. But I love these sponges.

Great Product!

I love this sponge! I had used the Beauty Blender brand sponge for years and was pretty happy with those. However, I think the Cle De Peau sponge is better. This sponge works well when applying a variety of different types of makeup. I use it primarily to apply my "The Foundation," but also use it to apply blush and complete the finishing touches when using the Cushion Foundation. Highly recommend!
