Freesia Print Maxi Dress

So I ordered this dress in size small (5’3”, 140 lbs) and would say it is roomy. I’m considering ordering a different color and would probably order an XS. But I’m super surprised by the reviews—yes it’s $68 full price at Nordstrom—probably not the highest quality but my Ibiza Floral print looks EXACTLY like the pictures. I was out and saw a woman wearing this dress and she looked adorable so I asked where she got it. She told me Nordstrom and I was shocked at the price point. It arrived today and is super cute—love the pockets. I would definitely ay it runs large but it’s cute for a daytime, super easy dress. As for other reviews, no need to “consign for half the price” if it doesn’t work for you. Nordstrom has a great return policy. Just send it back. I think it’s cute, a good value, and will order the XS to try in a different color.

This dress is perfection on a hanger. It is casual/loose-fitting but flattering. The material is soft and breathable with discreet side pockets. The hemline on Kona Beach adds a flair of uniqueness. I’m 5’2 and although the dress is long, I haven’t tripped yet! I hope beachlunchlounge will make more maxi dresses in darker colors.

Hello everyone, this dress is simply unwearable unless you're into frumpy frocks or like me, you belt the heck out of it with a wide belt. Regardless of any measure of height, what I received is a complete lie by the photos' account / detailing. It's inappropriately gathered at the back and not properly banded and creates overhangs of fabric and unless you're like me and gather it under a belt, which flattens it out and smoothes the line, you're well on your way to looking like you're in desperate need of 10 rounds of sculpting treatments. I'm dismayed to say the least considering it can't be tailored appropriately were I too consider it but LOL at how embarassing that would be to do at the price point of the dress. Bottom line is, judging by the dress I received, there are 2 options - gather fabric and belt it to show off a real figure, or promptly return. Given that this is such a low price point and I like fabric and the print, I'm just gonna belt it, wear it once or so and then consign it. It's a really nice candidate for consignment / selling to thrift. I'll wear it and get back a little as in it's current construction, is only worth about half the selling price. And that's just the Plain Old Truth.
