What it is: A game-changing hair mask for curly, coily and wavy hair that replenishes strength with a peptide derived from plant proteins.
Who it's for: Ideal for curly, coily and wavy hair types.
What it does: This intensive silicone-free treatment mask conditions and increases smoothness of curls and coils. The formula also protects from frizz and leaves hair looking more defined and 2X shinier.
How to use: After shampooing, smooth the mask through damp hair. Leave on 2–5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. For coils and tight curls: on wash days, use be curly advanced shampoo, intensive curl perfecting masque and curl perfecting primer, then style with coil definer gel (all sold separately). Between wash days, swap shampoo for the co-wash to gently cleanse and condition curls and coils without stripping. Follow the co-wash with the intensive curl perfecting masque or conditioner, depending on your individual hair needs, and the curl perfecting primer. Then, style with coil definer gel. For wavy and loosely curly hair: on wash days, use be curly advanced shampoo, conditioner and curl perfecting primer, then style with curl enhancer cream Swap conditioner for the intensive curl perfecting masque every 2–3 wash days, depending on your individual hair needs.

Softer hair
I recently tried this masque and really love how it transformed my curls. The texture is rich but not heavy, and it deeply hydrates without weighing my hair down. After rinsing, my curls feel softer, bouncier, and much more defined with less frizz. The natural scent is pleasant and spa‑like. It’s become a weekly must‑use for me, especially during dry weather. My curls have never looked healthier!

This product was horrible for my hair type
If you have fine hair that's 2c 3a do not waste your money on this product. It was difficult to apply to my hair and then wouldn't completely rinse out. My hair feels like it has a coating of wax on it and forget about trying to style it today. I'll have to wash it out tomorrow and I don't like to wash my hair that often or it dries it out. My hair is weighed down today and my bangs looked and acted like they were greasy and I don't have greasy hair ever. Then Aveda insists I return my 2 small samples with this product even though I'm keeping my other full sized Be Curly Advanced Curl Enhancer Cream (which I love). That's just poor customer service for someone who's used Aveda for over 20 years and it's not my fault this product didn't work for my hair. Had I known it wouldn't work I would've ordered a different Be Curly Advanced product (like the shampoo) so I could qualify for those 2 samples. That's uncool Aveda!!!

good
this masque feels rich and nourishing on curly hair. It helps define curls while reducing frizz. The formula leaves hair feeling soft and manageable. It works well as a weekly treatment. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. It is a great option for maintaining healthy curls.

Surprised!
I got this as I needed a hydrating treatment and shampoo. This treatment is surprisingly good. I used as per directions and my hair felt soft and moisturised. I had, in the past, used the Nutriplenish range but was disappointed. This on the other hand was really good.

Would purchase again
I used this after be curly shampoo, it does not give me the slip my hair needs to finger detangle, however, upon rising it out, the slip was amazing and I was able to finger detangle. My hair t-shirt semi dried beautifully with zero frizz! Lovely sheen and the curl pattern defined. Soft lovely fragrance. When completely dried my 3c-ish waist length hair was very moveable, soft, shiny with a nice wave pattern. No frizz what so ever, WOW!

Great!
I would like to start off my saying this was gifted by Aveda. This hair masque was good but it smells like a citronella candle. Definitely not my favorite when it comes to the smell but I did notice that my hair was shinier and less frizzy after using it.
