Bayswater Leather Satchel

This bag is so gorgeous and the smell of leather is so considerable that I fell in love as soon as I opened the packaging. Even though you ordered from Nordstrom, it actually ships from the Mulberry store in New York City. With that, it comes in a Mulberry dust bag, then a Mulberry shopping bag all inside of a shipping box. When I first opened it, the bag looked darker than some of the videos I had seen online, and I even questioned whether it was the NVT leather versus the small grain pebble, but there are noticeable differences between the two leathers that I was able to discern that I actually had the NVT. You can use other identifiers like the manufacturer’s code on the sales tag inside the zipper pocket within the bag itself. The NVT leather also has light stitching whereas the pebble grain leather has brown stitching. Also, the NVT leather has unfinished suede on the inside of the bag as opposed to more refined leather on the inside of the pebble grain. This bag is gorgeous! Every piece of hardware is covered in plastic, including the feet on the bottom and every piece of hardware and zipper on the inside of the bag as well. I did have to select a looser belt hole on the buckles a bit inside the bag that run along the side to make the bag a little wider to fit my small laptop, but now it fits absolutely perfectly. I could not recommend this bag more!
