What it is: A paraben-free, high-hold gel designed to strengthen hair for slicked-back and pompadour styles that stay locked in place all day.
What it does: It's formulated with mica, which provides shine, and ginger and birch juice that soften and smooth hair. It won't flake, crunch or leave behind any residue.
How to use: Squeeze a fingernail-sized amount into the palm of your hand and rub your palms to distribute evenly before applying it to your hair. Apply on damp or towel-dried hair and build as you go to reach your desired style.
Pro tips: For a less shiny look, blow-dry hair after applying the product. Keep your hair dryer on its lowest setting and use a brush or comb to help evenly distribute heat. This gel can be used with other styling products to create a variety of looks.

Received this for Christmas. I have been looking for a replacement for a product I used years ago called Aramis Maltplex Gel, long since discontinued. This fits the bill and more... a superior project and my new go too!

Poor Ingredients
This product contains silicones, which basically creates a barrier that prevents moisture from absorbing in your hair.

Works well but small amount for the price.
While the product is good and smells great, it is just a very small amount for the price. I can go through a tube in 3 weeks with daily use. Most Gels are 6-8oz so 4 oz doesn't stretch very far. An 8oz tube would have earned 5 stars.
