Replacement for the OG Givenchy loose powder!
I have great news!!! I have FINALLY found a powder that rivals the old Givenchy loose powder that was reformulated! Dare I say that it might even be better!!! 😲😲😲😲 I’ve only worn it twice so far, but OMG I am blown away! I have tried every single powder under the sun trying to find a replacement for the old Givenchy formulation, and nothing has even came close. But I seriously think this one might even be better! Shocked I know!!!

Deeper Skin Beware....
I LOVE the finish of this powder. It is so so so gorgeous BUT if you have MEDIUM TAN skin or DEEPER, this powder has way too much of a white base. It's pretty devastating given how beautifully it blurs the under eyes without drying them out. But the white base makes me look - well, barely alive, aka casket-ready. I hope Melt expands the shade range on this.

Wish it was a tad bit lighter in color...
I bought this after the Black Friday sale, so prob beginning of Dec. I love the way it blurs... BUT, I am extremely fair and it does change the color of my skin after my foundation is on. I do not use it right under my eyes. I use it on my nose, forehead, and under my contour on my jaw. I know it says translucent, it is mostly. I'm usually the fairest foundation shade, unless there's like 60 shades and one of them is almost white like albino white (I hope that's not offensive, I don't mean it to be), then I'm like the 2nd or 3rd fairest shade. IDK how anyone more fair than I am would wear this. I saw the video of one of the owners of the brand (I think she's an owner) wear this powder and it looked like it was translucent on her and I figured she is close to my skin tone, so it should work for me, Maybe if I used it on my entire face, it wouldn't be noticeable, but I have dry skin and only powder my T zone very lightly and my jaw so my makeup doesn't transfer. But I don't powder my cheeks so that is where I can tell the diff in color on my skin.

Darkens makeup
Lovely finish and very blurring. The issue for me is the shade. Translucent has a brownish orange hue when applied over cream products. I am very fair and have never really had this issue with other powders before. Love the formula but the color does not work for me. My shade reference is Givenchy glow foundation in 0N.

Blurring
This powder is so good! This is very silky and blurs and it is a light slightly peach color that is very natural looking when applied. I own several powders from other brands tgat people rave about but I think this powder is better than any of my others. I use this every day. I do suggest, as someone else wrote, tgat you use a light hand applying this powder.

Fantastic powder
This is a great product and it arrived quickly. It is easy to use the component and the color is sheer with a barely there pinkish tint. Melt Cosmetics is a great brand and it was nice to be able to get this from Nordstrom.
