Petites please!
I'm a 61 year old retired woman putzing around the house on many days, but being only 4'11" and fairly petite (115#, 34C, size 2 pants), I was hesitant to buy this. I thought the white would be whiter, but it's more of a taupe. That is the only remotely negative comment I can think of. It's long on my short body, which is why I would love to see a petite selection. When I first put it on, It was sooo soft and cozy I didn't want to take it off! The attached sleeves are amazing and add a lot of class, plus they're practical as well as comfort!able. I initially thought it might be too long for my height, but I loved wearing it so much I decided it would work great as the "wear around the house all winter" softest sweater! When our daughter recently stopped by, I wore it out to dinner then to the movie theater... and I had no less than 5 compliments in less than an hour!!! I own many Barefoot Dream pieces, and I have had to return 2-3 of them because they were just way too long, but I'll order another one of this one as soon as they're available again. More colors, please!!! I love all of my Barefoot Dreams, plus they wash and dry perfectly!!! It's still just as amazingly soft and cozy as it was on day one!!!

Cozy equals heavy!
This poncho is nice, but the material is VERY heavy. Best suited for outdoor wear only. Not sure he anyone could wear this indoors.

Cozy...not Chic...
" I saw this and thought..."Whoa, a cuddly soft chic poncho...yes please!" But oh how silly I was. This is cuddly and soft, but certainly not chic. The cuffs to make "sleeves" are awesome, and this is amazing to lounge around the house in, but that is about it. I would maybe go walk my dog quickly with this on, but I certainly wouldn't go out in public. It feels like a blanket, snuggles like a blanket, and simply looks like you are wearing a blanket after you woke up from a nap. If I saw someone wearing this at the grocery store, I would think they had a blanket wrapped around them, and wonder if they were headed to the cold/flu aisle.
For something costing $154 I want to look and feel amazing in it, so because it cost so much money it is going back. Maybe if it cost half as much I might consider holding on to it for lazy days around the house, but I can't justify the price for blanket with cuffs and a neck hole.
I haven't had issues with shedding in the gray and black stripes one I received. It does come with extra strings and would have no idea what to do with them. Overall, I think other items like the circle cardigan from Barefoot Dreams are worth the money, but this simply isn't. Bummer.

Dreamy poncho
This poncho is a dream! I bought it in the grey (on Jaclyn Hill’s recommendation ☺️) and am so happy I did. It is so soft and cozy but also can look very dramatic and chic with the right accessories. Perfect for these chilly winter days. Love it!

Delicious comfort
Comfortable, cozy, cute. This poncho is simply perfect so in love with it. I've only worn it to lounge around the house but it's cute enough for a night out. Best bday gift ever from my hubs!

Good for lounging
I waited forever to finally buy this, but I'm glad I did. It is overpriced, but the unique design makes it worth it. It's very soft and not overly thick. I am 5'2 and it hits me at my knees. It is quite oversized for my petite frame (115 lbs), but I don't plan to wear it out of the house. Overall, if you're looking for a great lounging piece, this fits the bill. As far as casual wear out of the house, it might be a little too "blankety" to look appropriate.
