amazing comfy sweater but a word of caution

I will confess that I own more than one of these sweaters as it was what I pretty much lived in during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I cannot say enough about the great coziness of wrapping yourself up in it over your pjs, and then when you finally can manage to leave the house with baby in tow, being able to quick throw it on over leggings and voilá, you look great. Just one word of caution as I experienced significant disappointment two nights ago: do not cook in this sweater. I was pan searing some salmon, wearing my sweater, sinking a glass of wine, listening to Spotify, and hot oil splashed out of the pan and melted everywhere the oil landed. So sad.

did not like cable knit

I always prefer a flat knit since it makes me look slimmer and because this is long -not a good look -I am size 12 and took L/XL.Sleeves were comfortable in L/XL. Pearl color is not as white as pictured.(I do love BD throw and weekend wrap.)

like wearing a cloud!

i cant get over how sort and comfortable this sweater is - i've been wearing it around the house - even though its summer in ny! my fiance wanted me to order two more - one to make a pillow and one to use as a blanket. instead i ordered from their home selection! xoxo!

And my barefoot dreams addiction continues

So I'm cutting through Nordstrom to get to my car this morning and there was a nice lady putting this out for sale. Like a magnet I ran over to see. So gorgeous. Just like the calypso wrap but with the cable.............bought the gray. If you love the calypso wrap you will love this just as much or more!

Soft wrap/robe

Soft, lovely, nice, cozy piece...whatever you want to use it for. The L/XL is really not sized correctly. I like this size because the arms are too tight in the S/M.

Great cable cardigan

This cable cardigan is really lovely. It runs pretty true to size and has the same lines as the original barefoot dreams cardigan but, the material seems a bit lighter and ever softer (maybe because of the cables?) than the original. I purchased the cream and I feel like I'm in a spa every time I wear it. The color is a pristine clean ivory that with the cables looks sophisticated and rich. When the weather gets cooler I may trying wearing it outdoors with similar cream colors and black. I think depending on what you pair it with it could easier go beyond typical "loungewear".

Amazingly soft and luxurious

This wrap is divine and looks flattery on despite its looseness. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars is I am a standard medium, but the sleeves were much too snug for me to wear it over anything but a tank top (the body was sized well though). I ordered in the L/XL even though it hurt to order my Mother's size. :) This size fits really well through the arms, so I will wear it comfortably over other sleeved tops. I don't see how anyone could wear this wrap and not feel better. It is so soft and cozy. The cable knit gives a nice sliming vertical line too, so I don't look like a cow wearing it.
