Nice raincoat, generous cut
I bought this coat at the 2019 NAS and was not easy to come by- it sold out before early access was over. It was a stalking adventure and finally ended up with both colors. Now trying to choose. It is a generous cut- I think "swing coat" as another reviewer called it is accurate. It is the intended look of the coat. It is unfortunate that buying online, it is not possible to see this aspect and now it is a polarizing feature that detracts from an otherwise beautiful coat that will last many seasons. Keep in mind that it is the body that is wider cut- through the shoulders and sleeves, the coat is TTS.

Way too big
This coat runs at least two sizes too big! I had to return the coat and then they were all out of other sizes. Very frustrating.

nice raincoat
I agree with others that the coat is large, but mostly because of the extra fabric in the back, which gives it almost a swing coat look. I ordered a ten, which works for me because I often wear a thick fleece under my raincoats for dog walking in the colder weather and for shoveling snow, and I do have broad shoulders. I had also ordered the barbour at regular price in case the anniversary sale coat did not come back in stock in my size,( I really need a new waterproof coat!) and here are the differences: the anniversary is longer, fuller in the hips, and does not have hand warmer pockets. the pockets are also lower on the body, but the shoulders and arm length are the same. the navy is a great color.

HUGE.
This jacket is hilariously huge. I am 135 5’3 and I could’ve put two of myself in the 6. It’s so cute so I’d like to reorder but I feel like I need to get twice as small and that makes me nervous. ITS SO LARGE YOU GUYS

Seriously Nice Raincoat
I just received this coat in navy, and I love it. I was hesitant to purchase it after so many negative reviews. However, for me, it’s just about perfect. It is roomy, but I would not say it’s too oversized. It does have an inverted pleat in the back that gives it an A line. I am 5’7”, and on me, it hits right at the top of my knee. This is a heavy raincoat even though it does not have a thermal lining. It is a heavy weight brushed cotton. Here in the southeast, I would probably only wear a raincoat this heavy October through March, which means I appreciate the extra room to wear it over a bulky sweater, or even a business suit when traveling. I have several quilted vests and jackets and waxed jackets by Barbour, and I am a 10 in some and a 12 in more fitted styles. The size 10 in this raincoat works for me because the arm length and across the shoulders are true to size. If you’re in between sizes, go with the smaller size.
