way too big
I have another Barbour rain coat. I checked the size on that one before ordering this version. I ordered the exact same size as the coat I already own and this one is gigantic. I had to return it and sadly it’s sold out in the smaller size.

Beautiful but runs large
I love this coat! I’m usually an 8-10 in outerwear be cause I have a larger chest and even in Barbour it’s inconsistent and dependent on cut so I took a chance and got the 10 because I figured even if it was a little roomy I could tighten it down at the waist. For this jacket that was a mistake. It runs so big that even doing that wasn’t flattering. If it comes back in stock I plan to size down at least one size if not two.

Nice and roomy!
Perfect, nice looking coat that is really water proof. It runs very large.i had to get it 2 sizes smaller than my normal size. I am 5’5”, 155 lbs. normally wear a size 12 in tops and ended up with the size 8 and still have plenty of room to wear layers/sweater underneath. For me it is worth the price, I will use it for years in the PNW!

Very nice coat
This is my first Barbour jacket. I ordered my usual US size (4) and it fits perfectly through the shoulders and waist. I am 5'5" and it falls several inches past my knees but I think it still looks nice. The sleeves are a tad long but not enough to bother me. This coat feels like great quality drapes nicely.

High quality but runs large
This coat is full of all of the thoughtful, high-quality details you'd expect from Barbour. Great length, breathable fabric, smooth zipper and snaps, and the hood design in particular is perfect for a waterproof coat. It does run rather large; I typically wear 6-8 and err on the side of 8 for coats. Unfortunately, the 8 is not just roomy, it swallows me up.
