Betty Quilted Fleece Lined Vest

It's a great quality item, however as some other reviews have mentioned the sizing is a bit weird. I got the size 8 in the trunk club to try on & zipped up it was really tight across my chest even without a bra on. I'm a 34C, 130lbs and barrel chested from asthma & climbing. However it was super big by my hips, I'm used to some discrepancy when I buy dresses and coats as I'm anywhere from a 6-10 on top, while a 0-4 on the bottom, but this was even more than usual, like it made me look frumpy on the bottom. So if you aren't the typical hourglass or triangle I don't recommend this cut.

This vest fits true to Barbour sizing if you understand this is meant to fit close to your body. I ordered the brown in a 10 to go inside my size 10 Beandell wax jacket. On its own, the vest is quite tight across my chest (36DD) and I would probably go up a size but inside the jacket it’s perfect as is. Any bigger and I think it would be awkwardly bulky. The fleece lining is cozy, and lets me wear my jacket in colder temps without freezing. TLDR: if you want to wear it as a vest and have a chest, go up a size. If you want it as an insert to your Barbour jacket, order your normal size.

Easily zips into the Barbour Classic Beadnell Wax Jacket and the additional warm is noticeable. However, had to return the item as it was too small. For reference, I am 5'5", 120lbs, 32-34B. I wear the Beadnell in 0 US/4 UK as I prefer the more tailored look and have no trouble zipping it up. I purchased a 2 US/6 UK for the vest. When the vest was worn alone, I could not breathe once the zipper was pulled up (though it fit me perfectly waist through hip). When the vest was worn zipped into the Beadnell, the combination was so stiff that mobility was lost and it was difficult to sit down.
