Beautiful Well Fitted Jacket
Great looking jacket and great quality. The fit is pretty superb. It is tailored fit jacket, so it's more fitted than the regular, but not cut as narrow as the slim. I found this to be the perfect fit for my body type. I typically wear a 42R of 42S in men's jackets. Most brands of men's jackets are sized 38-40" for Medium and 42-44" for Large. Being that I measure at the bottom range of large, I rarely find a jacket that fits correctly. Either the medium is too small or the large is hanging off of me. Not in this jacket. The 42.5" measure of the large coat fit perfectly. The other problem I often find is that the arms are too long in jackets for me when I have to size up, because I don't have particularly long arms. Sleeve length on shirts are usually 32-33" Again, not the case with this coat. The arm length was near perfect for me. Although, I can see how someone taller with longer arms may find a problem with this and would have to size up. But if you are an average height male like myself (5'8") with a medium build, you will probably find this jacket to fit quite well.

fit tight and would not exchange
It fits tight. unfortunately customer service said it can not exchanged with XL and not even with different color and can only be returned. very strange for such a big store. customer service sucks anyway as i had same bad experience before. Returning the product.

Nice jacket. runs a bit small.
Nice jacket and got a good end-of-season deal on it. I like the look. I bought the XXL (I'd normal buy XL), and the sleeves are just long enough. I guess that's the way these run.

Great Jacket!
The jacket is a class act from start to finish. No wonder the British Royal family is wearing this brand. The styling is minimalistically classical and timeless, the execution is flawless. I appreciate the fact that the company logo is very discretely displayed on one of the outside pockets. I feel the jacket runs somewhat small. I went a size up from my husband's usual size and the fit was perfect.

Excellent Quality British Jacket
First of all this is not made in China otherwise I would have returned it. I was perplexed which Barbour jacket to buy between Ashby, Beaufort and Bedale. I ordered all three and hands downs Ashby is far superior than the other two. It’s great looking, functional and you can layer up for below 20F days. I wore on 20F to 50F days and this jackets handled the weather tremendously. Return for other two was smooth and once again Nordstrom service was at its best. It’s does runs small so I would emphatically suggest to order one size up. Even in covid days, people in airport lounge, grocery store and other public establishments have noticed and complimented on this Barbour jacket. I have performed a wide range of activities wearing this jacket and never once did I felt uncomfortable or claustrophobic. Adaptability of this jacket is simply phenomenal. I am a fan now and some of my friends ordered instantly after seeing me wearing one.

Cut way too slim
The jacket was purchased for my husband as a gift who is consistently a L. We ended up returning the item twice and landing on an XXL which has never been a size in his closet. Beautiful jacket but cut slim starting in the shoulders through the body of the jacket. I would have given 4 stars for all the inconvenience but ended with 3 stars due to the special cleaning required either at the Brand shop or Nordstrom's. In the meantime he plans to enjoy the jacket and let's hope for the best on cleaning.
