Arrow Quilted Hooded Anorak Coat

I thought this came with the dog... not what I thought I was ordering! Good jacket... BUT NO DOG

What the description doesn't say is that this is fully fleece lined, not just the collar or hood. This coat is sharp, well made, polyester outside so pretty waterproof, and fits really well. I did not have to size up in this Barbour like others have said for other styles. I live in Baltimore, which will get some cold winters, and I think this coat with the fleece lining is actually enough to go from October to March and even be fine and comfortable when everyone pulls out their ugly puffer jackets. Can't wait for it to get cold now.

I'm a student on the east coast, and I got this jacket for the infamous winters that we experience over here. I have to say this jacket has been performing perfectly! It snowed today, and the only sort of outerwear I had on was this jacket, and I was sooooo warm. I'm about 5'8", normally a size 6, but the size 8 fit me great! It's a bit roomy, so if you want it very fitted, I would suggest staying true to your size - that being said, the length of the sleeves could be a problem when you do that, which is why I sized up! This jacket is literally everything I could ever ask for and more. It covers my butt and the fleece lining is so warm. The hood works really well too, and I love that it detaches. And best of all, it's so cute. It doesn't make me look like a puff ball, it's almost like a fashion statement as well as a warm jacket - dream come true. My only qualm is that sometimes when I sit down, the bottom zipper starts opening up. This is kind of annoying, but it just means that I have to unzip the jacket before I sit down. Other than that, this is a perfect jacket for a wintery place. Hands down one of my best purchases at Nordstroms.

Bought this coat for my daughter for Christmas and she is very small and only 5'4". I thought it ran small and are having to go up to a size 6.

I have admired Barbour's Hawkstone parka for a few years but can't pull the trigger (the price!) so I thought I'd give the Arrow coat a try. As far as I can tell, this coat is identical in cut/details to the Hawkstone, but in a quilted fabric instead. I love that this is washable (Barbour's waxed cotton jackets aren't) but this coat is sadly going back. I'm petite (5'2", 110 lbs) and wear a 4 in Barbour. This coat fits well but the quilting makes it a little puffier than the Hawkstone and overwhelms my frame. As for warmth, I would say this coat could work as a winter coat in most places, but in Chicago I would need to switch to something warmer for Jan./Feb. This is still a beautiful, high quality coat--and a steal at this price. Try it!

The pictures do not do this jacket justice. I ended up going down one size for the best fit. It looks so nice zipped up and slightly cinched with the internal draw cords. Love the detailing of the oval patches on the elbows and brass buttons. I was just caught in a surprise downpour the other day wearing this jacket. I stayed dry and warm, so yes it performs well in rain! Overall I'm extremely satisfied with everything about this jacket.
