Aldburgh Quilted Jacket

To date, I have ordered three sizes, going smaller each time, and all have been way too large. Have never experienced anything like it, I know what size I usually wear. Debating about trying to keep going smaller or just picking out something else. The coat feels like it would be very warm and is well made and looks great. I'm just tired of the effort of ordering, trying on, and now having to make returns.

Somehow I didn't notice just how wide this would be on me. I did want slightly oversized to accommodate a bulky sweater, and it was perfect in the shoulders for that, but this ballooned out from the neck down. Also, the sleeves are very long and can't be cuffed more attractively. This is the same size I wear in several other Barbour jackets, so it must be the style. One more thing, I was hoping the color would be brighter, more like a winter white, and it's more like a light putty. I probably would have been willing to live with that if it hadn't been so huge.
