Lucent Tote

I’ve loved the Bao Bao styles ever since first seeing them in museum gift shops (NYC MoMA, SF MoMA) a decade ago. Yes, they are flat and may appear flimsy upon first look, but when you fill with your things, it takes on an ever-changing origami effect that is fun and unusual. The fine mesh lining is much stronger than it appears. I wouldn’t make a habit of it, but I’ve even occasionally tucked a laptop into mine without any problems. I get compliments on my lucent tote and prism tote all the time, and they have held up well to daily use. The strap drop length is a little on the short side for wearing over the shoulder, but if I’m not wearing bulky sleeves it can be worn that way. I love that it gives a slight modern edge to whatever I’m wearing.
