Bananastitchj Stone Wash Denim Jacket

The denim BananaStitch is a faithful replica of an archive Alessandro Squarzi garment, precisely reproducing the original material, stitching and fit. It is a denim jacket with a regular fit: characterized by a short and loose fit, this jacket features distinctive details such as high-quality riveted buttons from Japan. This garment is made with 100% cotton denim from Japan but made in Italy thanks to the study and dedication to detail of Alessandro Squarzi, founder of Fortela. The patch pockets with flaps on the front are masterfully decorated and enhanced by Fortela press studs on the pocket flaps. The lines of the BananaStitch are characterized by an oblique yoke on the front and cuts on the back sides: the front closure, in full respect of the denim tradition, is made with Fortela nail buttons on the front and repeated on the cuffs. Stone washing , created in the 1970s and made with pumice stone which erodes the fibers and fades the indigo colour, gives a touch of authenticity and a vintage feel, thanks to the medium colouring. BananaStitch in denim is ideal to wear in all seasons over linear garments that enhance its minimal style but can be worn with a cowboy hat like our black WCLARITA with suede band.
