What it is: A clean, tinted lip balm with active levels of moisture-boosting ingredients and sheer, buildable color.
What it does: The buttery, balmy formula quenches lips on contact while adding a kiss of color that builds with each swipe. It has a dewy, balmy finish with a soft hint of shine and a subtle vanilla scent. Each Balmy Tint is carefully poured by hand to maintain the integrity of the active formula.

Lovely balm
I have pale Caucasian skin and champagne-grey hair. Bought Lady and Memoir, and both are gorgeous. Lady is a clear red that doesn't make teeth look yellow. It's a red for people who think they can't wear red. Memoir is like my natural lip color, only better. Both colors are natural-looking and buildable. There's no discernible flavor or aroma. I cringed a bit at the price, but these are perfect additions to my makeup wardrobe.

Memoir and Heartbeats
I wish these reviews left would state the color they are reviewing.
Memoir is a “ your lips but better, great for that natural look. Like most of the reviews say it’s a non feathering lipstick with a good feel.
Heartbeats same on the feel with a real punch of color on those days you really want to stand out more and offers more energy.

I recently purchase this in the Memoir color - a neutral mauve. I love it!!! So moisturizing! Please re-stock all of the colors, as Nordstrom only carried 4 of the 8 Ilia produces in this lip balm.

Beautiful! Not scented or flavored
I don’t know why another reviewer said this was too scented and flavored.i found no scent or flavor to Memoir. It is a beautiful, sheer-but-there formula. A bit brownish, but not at all heavy. Very natural.

Need More Oomph
I bought this as a cleaner, cruelty-free alternative to Dior Glow lip balm. Sadly, it falls short in feel and look. It does not glide on lips as smoothly nor does it leave as much of a shine. The most disappointing part is it leaves my lips looking lined/lacking in moisture after an hour or two of wear. For now, I’m wearing Kosas lip oil on top of it for the shine and glow I’m hoping to achieve but the search continues.
