Suede Harrington Jacket

I perpetually strive to see the positive over the negative. In this instance, the is nothing positive to say about this suede jacket. Buying a new suede or leather jacket is always a delightful experience when you open the bag or box. The fragrant aroma envelopes your senses. Not this jacket, it reeks of a chemical that must have been used during the manufacturing process. I have no reference point to compare this offensive smell. It’s not body odor or the smell of mildew, it’s an irritating chemical smell. I have been airing this jacket out for 2 days and it’s still just as pungent as it was out of the bag. It’s going back to the store and should be placed in the trash and not sent to The Rack! Secondly, the bottle green color in the representational picture is attractive. This jacket is so dark it almost appears t be black. In addition, this jacket is so badly wrinkled that it looks like a child wadded it up and stuffed it in suitcase. Perhaps this was an anomaly, but I’m not willing to take another chance, so I’m returning it and going to try a different brand.

Suede is relatively heavy weight. I was looking for something lighter. It was not that comfortable.

Returned but would like to buy it again
