What it is: A multi-benefit blow-dry primer that cuts your dry time, leaving hair perfectly primed for styling.
What it does: Naturally derived lactic acid from sugar beets helps smooth and seal the cuticle, allowing for enhanced fiber separation, increasing air flow around the fibers to decrease dry time. It also helps reduce breakage while moisturizing hair to protect against thermal damage. It features the brand's pure-fume aroma, with certified organic mandarin, star anise, ylang-ylang and other pure flower and plant essences.
How to use: Shake well. Section clean, towel-dried hair into four quadrants. Spray each quadrant until saturated. Comb through. Blow-dry hair.

SAVE TIME!
I love this product! i have long and thick hair and this product reduces my blow drying time. It is helpful to put your no-rinse heat protector then spray speed of light!!!

Do not recommend
This product somehow managed to make my hair greasy and dry at the same time! I didn't think that was possible. I have fine thin hair and only used a little bit. My hair looks stringy and it also dried it out. It's such a hassle to return so I will have to just discard it.

Aveda Speed of Light: Fast and Flat
My hair blow dried quickly with this, but came out straight, flat, and without the body and bounce that I usually get with a big round brush, at roots and ends. Some shine, some texture, but not that fresh look I often get with other Aveda products. Brilliant Damage Control is my favorite at the moment, always good alone or with another styling product.

So worth it!!
My daughter has very knotted hair and we have tried so many different products throughout the years. I was very skeptical when the stylist gave us this to try. I just used it on her and it is a miracle spray. No screaming, no crying and no damaging her hair trying to comb out her knots. 100% worth it.

Don't buy this product - defective. Aveda should discontinue
I purchased this product when it originally came out. I liked it then. I ordered again a few months ago. As stated by many other reviewers this product does not spray properly. The spray pump sticks and you have to manually pull it up after every spray. I tried cleaning the sprayer with hot water. I tried transferring the product to other spray bottles that I know worked fine, however, a couple of pumps of this and again, a stuck sprayer.
