great for fine hair
this mousse is not sticky or heavy, it's nice and lightweight but still adds enough holding power that i don't need hairspray. and it smells like ginger ale, not chemical perfumes!
if you want more "starch" in your mouse, mix in some aveda potion powder before you apply this. awesome!

Not for fine hair
This styling foam has an odd odor and makes my hair flat and greasy looking. My hair even separates using this supposed “volumizing” foam. It is anything but volumizing. I have straight, fine gray hair. Pantene volume shampoo at CVS is far superior. Don’t waste your money. How does the Nordstrom buyer select a product line this.

Horrible for thin hair
I purchased this because it stated it was made for thin and/or fine hair. I hate it! It does nothing for fine straight hair. my hair was just as limp as if I used nothing. I am in Florida with super high humidity so hopefully this will help you make a decision.
