How to use: Work a small amount between palms and apply evenly through damp hair and allow to air dry.

Scent/aroma changed
I've been using this for years - a tube often lasts a long time and when I recently purchased a new one, I was saddened that, once again, some masterminds at Aveda decided to alter the scent. I'm not sure if it's an issue of using inferior/cheaper grade ingredients or what is occuring but over the last 5 years the product quality and aromas I used to love have changed for the worse. The current tube I received had a distinctive "mint" aroma that I never had with a Pureformance product. It was NOT the earthy (a bit patchouli?) that I have always loved. I realize that Aveda now does a "disclaimer" that ingredients may sometimes change. Well, and so will my purchasing habits. Aveda products are far too expensive not have consistency!

Nice Hair Gel, Great Quality Product
I really like the woodsy, masculine scent of this hair gel. Also, It's a firm hold without being too heavy. It's the right amount of hold. Just wish it was a little less expensive! Other than that, a great product.

Strong hold with soft look
I've been using this gel for about five years - I apply it after washing my hair (every three days), then style and when dry, I brush my hair out to soften the look. The style holds--and on days two and three, I use a light spray just to keep in place. The gel is not gooey, but clean, natural feeling--yet does the job!
