What it is: A daily leave-in treatment that helps instantly moisturize dry hair.
What it does: With certified-organic buriti oil harvested from the 'tree of life' in Brazil, this 90% natural (from plants, nonpetroleum minerals or water) treatment helps transform dry, brittle hair, making it soft and manageable. It's formulated without silicone, too, so it only takes a few drops to moisturize hair.
How to use: Apply 2–4 of oil to your hands, emulsify and smooth from mid-lengths to ends through half of your hair. Repeat on the second half. Gently comb your fingers through your hair to evenly distribute. Do not rinse. Using the residual oil left on your hands, gently smooth them over your crown for more shine and fewer flyaways.

HOLY GRAIL of HAIR PRODUCTS
This is the MOST WONDERFUL STUFF ON EARTH!!!!!! I was using silicone based serums and my hair was flat and greasy, and I'd use a clarifying shampoo to clean it out which dried my hair like crazy. That circle of misery was getting old, so I started trying oils. NONE of them worked except for this one....it is the HOLY GRAIL of hair products. It makes my highlighted, fine, damaged hair look and feel like silk (blonde hair is hardly ever shiny but this makes it glossy-gorgeous!). It washes out perfectly, never builds up, smells heavenly, and is my GO TO product! I can use it on damp hair, dry hair or whatever....you'll never need another hair styling/blow dry/smoothing product again. If Aveda ever discontinues this product I'm shaving my head.

Hair didn’t feel soft
This made my hair feel like straw. Too much build up. I was disappointed because usually aveda is amazing.

Aveda Dry Remedy
I HIGHLY recommend this product! After having tried numerous other oils for my hair in an attempt to tame it (I have long, very thick, wavy hair that is prone to frizz), only to be exceedingly frustrated and unimpressed because they leave my hair feeling too oily, and weigh it down (particularly Moroccan oil), I have finally found the product that makes my hair look AMAZING! Don't let the small size of the bottle fool you; one small bottle will last months. I cannot say enough good things about this product; thank you, Aveda!

Great on wet curly hair
My hair is curly, color processed & dry. I add 3 or 4 drops of this oil to my shampoo, to my conditioner, and then to my styling products. All while my hair is wet. It only works on wet hair. I used to try it on dry hair & that was pointless. This keeps my curls curly until 2 or 3 days later when I shampoo again. Without it, my hair looks like cotton candy.

Bought it by mistake
What a great mistake! I bought this thinking it was for skin and applied it to my skin a few time before reading it was for hair. Actually it wasn't bad on the skin, but it's great on hair! I hated those fuzzy fly away's in humid weather, but with a couple of drops rubbed in your hand then worked through your hair, Magic!

Great product
My hair is in pretty good condition. I started using Aveda shampoos and loved the way my hair feels, looks, and manages. My sister uses this oil on her hair after it is dry. I tried it on my hair after it had dried and I had styled it and I love it. It just gives it an extra sheen and smoothness. It only takes a few drops as the bottle states. I highly recommend Aveda products.
