I have been using this product for about five years, and this Is the best hairspray ever!! One note: it is titled as a "Medium Hold," but it is more of a firm hold. This hairspray definitely adds shine and will last all day.

Heavily Perfumed
I normally love Aveda products, but this hair spray is heavily perfumed. Aveda products usually have a pleasant scent, but this particular scent is a headache inducing, offensive perfume (sorry, Aveda!). The hold was perfect and if Aveda modified the scent or made it without a scent, I'd be a fan. Fortunately, Nordstrom has a great return policy, so I returned the item.

The best I have found
I have been using the Aveda Brilliant hair spray for well over five years. My stylist was using it, she loved it (and still uses it), and it did the job for me, so I bought it for home use. I have found that Nordstrom has the best price for this hair spray, plus I am grateful that they do not charge a shipping fee.
The Brilliant does not have a strong scent, I cannot see it on my hair, and it holds wonderfully. Not a lot is needed for good hold, so the bottle lasts a long time. It is easy to brush through later--no stickiness or crustiness to deal with ever. I have thick, just-below-shoulder-length hair, and I am completely satisfied with the control this spray offers.

Great hold!
I've used this hair spray for years! It's the absolute best for long lasting results especially when it's humid. It also gives my hair a shine. The smell is wonderful! I'm so happy Nordstrom is now carrying Aveda products in their Dallas store.

Good Hairspray for Curly Hair
I got this small size to try it out because I am very particular about my hairspray. It does really well with my curly hair and tames the frizzies. It does make it slightly crunchy, but it's the control I am looking for.
