be curly^™ Curl Enhancing Spray

This gives a little needed volume to my fine, curly hair. It enhances the curl just like it says, and does NOT dry out my hair. I have blonde highlights that look fried if I don't use the right products. I bought this with skepticism, but it turned out that I really like that it seems to thicken, add volume, enhance the curl. A very nice surprise. I find that it helps to also use the be curly conditioner as a leave-in conditioner. Helps my blonde highlights to look moisturized & does not weight my hair down.

I have been using this in conjunction with the Aveda Be Curly curl enhancer (the cream) and oh my goodness, it really boosts my waves! The underneath sections of the my hair tend to be pretty curly, but on top it will flatten out if I don't put any product in it. With the cream and this, my top layers get some pretty good curl definition out of my waves. It does a good job at holding the curl as well. I don't feel like I need a separate hairspray to hold the style/curls (although I do use a texturizing aerosol spray for volume). The reasons I gave 4/5 starts is one, the scent is a little hairspray like right at first but it dissipates. It still has that aromatherapy (herbal?) sort of smell overall. Two, if you spray it too close then it can get sticky, and it instructs to spray from 10-12 inches away (which is surprisingly hard to do, and hard to remember to do). I think it works much better on damp hair even though it says it can be used on dry hair. When I've used it on dry hair it ends up sticky, but that could be me holding it too close. Overall, I would highly recommend this to someone looking to enhance and define curl.

I can't say enough about this Be Cury line. I have very fine, dry looking fly away curly hair which I've pretty much hated my entire life. I found this line and it's totally changed my hair. I have not tried the shampoo or conditioner yet. I use very high end shampoo from another brand but that by itself is not enough. Then, I use a leave in conditioner from another brand and that still is not enough. Next I use 3 Be Curley products while my hair is wet. First I put a nickel sized amount of Style Prep and a nickel sized amount of Curl Enhancer in the palm of my hand and mix it up and scrunch it throughout evenly as possible. Then I spray this Enhancing Hair Spray all over and dry with a diffuser scrunching. When dry I spray a little more of the hair spray at 12 inches away from my head and scrunch again if needed. Oh it's so much better! Don't every stop making these products. I'm 51 years old and I think I've tried everything. This is the best!

I ordered this because I read a magazine article saying this spray would help my hair hold a curl better. The back of my hair always falls flat, but this spray helps add texture to my hair keeping the curl longer. It’s a lot more mild texture than a salt spray so it doesn’t leave your hair feeling too texturized. I lightly spray my hair wet then blow dry. I also mist my dry hair before I curl (let dry before curling)! It has helped me a ton! My curls hold longer. My hair has a nice wave once the curl falls, I no longer have it fall completely straight. That’s a win in my book!
