What it is: An enhancer for intensifying curls, taming frizz and increasing shine.
Who it's for: Ideal for those with wavy (2A, 2B, 2C) or tight (3A, 3B, 3C) hair.
What it does: It's formulated with a wheat-protein blend that expands when hair is wet and retracts when hair is dry to help lock in your curls or waves. It features a 96% naturally derived formula from plants, nonpetroleum minerals and water. The enhancer is scented with Aveda's own pure-fume™ aroma with certified organic lemon, geranium, bergamot, orange and other pure flower and plant essences.
How to use: Smooth generously onto damp hair. Dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser for added volume and curl definition.
Pro tips: Generously apply from ends to scalp, keeping most of the product at the tips. Twist large sections of hair into tight coils and secure ends to your head using large butterfly clips. Cover with a fine hair net to avoid flyaways and frizz. Blow dry with high heat using a diffuser.

Fantastic Curls for Fine, Wavy Hair
My hair is extra fine and naturally wavy. Most products weigh it down or dry stiff, making it looks wet even when dry.
Aveda's Be Curly is the only product I've found that enhances the curls and keeps my hair soft and separated. If it starts to frizz (like when I have all the windows down in the car and I'm on the highway :) I can just spray with water and scrunch a bit, and the curls come right back.

I threw is away
I used to use this product years ago, it was actually my first product I used when transitioning from straightened hair to naturally curly. It was my hg for years and years. Since then I got into other brands but decided to go back to basics and wow I was disappointed. I am not exaggerating when I say I threw this away after 2 uses. Right away I noticed the formula has changed and it’s very liquidy, whereas before it was a thick cream. I got no hold, little definition, and LOTS of frizz. I won’t be coming back to Aveda for my 2c/3a curls.

Finally LOVE my hair!
The Aveda Rep at Nordstrom asked me what I would like different about my hair. I told her I had lots of frizz but little curl in my hair any longer. She suggested 'Be Curly". Oh my! That gal is my new best friend! I love how my hair looks when using this product. I used a little too much the first time, but once I figured out that about a dime size amount works great for me, I will never go without this again. My hair looks great which makes me feel great. Thank you Aveda Rep for asking about my hair needs! I am coming back for more Aveda products and advice.

Having curly hair can be a Challenge finding a product that works. I’m happy to say this is one.
I’m not a huge fan of the scent. But hey can’t win them all.

Turns Waves into Curls
Love this stuff. I have naturally wavy hair. This just brings out soft curls. I use a tiny bit on the ends of my hair after I get out of the shower. It never looks like it has product in it. It's just enhances the curls.

Favorite hair product
Use this daily since I have naturally curly hair. I've tried others but this is the only one that smells clean, not oily, does not aggravate my allergies and enhances the curl softly and naturally. I apply this first followed by the Confixor (styling gel by Aveda) on damp hair. Then I diffuse my hair. I've been using this product for at least 5 years. Most people with curly hair will love it!
