Movement: Three-hand Miyota caliber 8215 Japanese automatic movement, with 40-hour power reserve. Automatic movement: has the ability to automatically wind and recharge movement through natural motions of the wearer’s wrist or when stored in a watch winder.

Since I’ve bought this watch
Since I’ve bought this watch I’ve never worn it. I took the wristband apart to readjust for a smaller wrist and could not put back together. The links were weak and bent out of shape. My husband tried, I tried nothing worked. Therefore it’s just gathering dust.

I got the watch and
I got the watch and it won't keep time. It only progressed 1 hour 25 mins in a 25 hour period. Ridiculous! When you spend that much money on something, you expect it to work.

I really like the look
I really like the look and feel of this watch. I like retro style watches. It appears to be keeping pretty accurate time but I haven’t had it long enough to know just how accurate it is going to be. I had a Timex fifty years ago and it seemed like a disposable watch. It’s nice to see that Timex also sells nicer watches than the ones I had as a teenager.

This is a great throwback
This is a great throwback to 80s design. I love the automatic design- no need for batteries! The downside is of course that the watch will lose time and need to be periodically reset.
It’s quiet especially compared with the Timex Weekender Snoopy watch which is loud like a classroom clock.
The gold watch band is pretty, almost to the point of being blingy, but goes well with work or smart casual clothes.

My husband loves this watch.
My husband loves this watch. Adjusting the sizing was incredibly easy. The face is a good size- not too large as to make it ostentatious. It is understated and classy.

I have admired this watch
I have admired this watch for some time. It is rarely available. When my 30-year-old Tiffany stainless steel watch was no longer reliable I pre ordered this watch. It looks very good. It has stopped a couple of times when I’ve had it off overnight. We’ll see if it works well going forward.
