Worth the price
Within 2 weeks of using this cream, I noticed a change in my skin. It was brighter, smoother and my dark spots had started to fade. After using only Augustinus Bader for 27 days, my skin is smoother, plumper and fine lines have improved. I no longer use any retinol products on my face, just Augustinus Bader twice a day as directed followed by my sunscreen during the day.

Disappointment
I’ve been using this every night for 4 months now. I really wanted to love this product because the bottle is beautiful, the cream feels luxurious, and I love the pump! But to be honest, I see no difference in my skin. It’s caused me to breakout in areas of my face that usually never break out. I’ve been on prescription retinols and usually don’t break out so when I started using this I hope it would be a good replacement but it just made my skin worse..

Very popular Renewal Cream... but...
I have used this Cream and the Rich Cream both, and the jury is out. I keep reading raving reviews about it, but I haven't seen any real change in my skin texture or wrinkles, yet. Not sure if I have to wait longer, keep using for a longer period to see results or what. I am willing to pay for products that produce results, but, not sure about this cream. I really dislike all the packaging and the intricate bottle for only 1 ounce. With all the emphasis on reducing packaging, what is this company doing??? One of the bottles I ordered also came with a blue flannel pouch for "traveling with your cream".... really?? Just excessive... not necessary. Increase the amount in the bottle, reduce the frill and drop the price a little.

expired maybe?
I loved this cream the first time I bought it, so I bought the bigger size the next time and the first 100 pumps were just basically water. And then the rest was gone within 3 weeks which is just insane. There was something really wrong with it - I think expired or something. I should have returned it!! Very disappointed.

This cream is old. It smells different than the normal cream. I will have to return this, probably best to order from the brand’s website.

Good though nothing extraordinary!
It wasn't the 'hype' surrounding this product that drew me in, but the ingredients - Retinol, 2 forms of Vitamin C and even 'Ceramide NP', Interestingly none of these are present in the 'rich version' which contains more emollients and less of the beneficial stuff. It's very rare to find two formulations of a product, with the one aimed at oilier and younger skin types turning out to be the better of the two! Anyhow, I used this daily as instructed, followed by SPF until I'd used up the product. It absorbs quickly and has a very light scent to it which reminds me ever so slightly of a bakery with a hint of cocoa powder! Packaging is stunning too. Did I notice better skin? Yes, a slightly brighter, more even and hydrated complexion for sure. But...nothing out of the ordinary. In fact speaking of ordinary I could achieve the same results with an assortment of The Ordinary serums (which I've also tried extensively) and all for about 1/15th of the price of a full size jar of this, and they would last much longer too! This is why I cannot give 'The Cream' 4 or 5 lippies, the price point is just absurd.
