Audrey Mulberry Silk Pajamas

I am in absolute awe of how fabulous this pair of silk pajamas is. The Mulberry silk is phenomenal. It has a different feel and look - more matte and less shiny. I love that. The color is true to the photos. Th buttons are silk covered and the stitching and finishing seems very high quality. I steamed mine and plan to steam them after a laundering. Yes, the silk will be a bit more maintenance but I was looking for something that felt luxurious. I have typical pajamas. I don’t tend to feel like they provide me with the pampered experience I was looking for. I had decided this summer to start buying higher end pajamas. I have bought some from several companies and so far, the Papinelle are the winners. The fit is very classic menswear style- think old movies made in the 50’s, so they are a fuller cut. I don’t want tight sleepwear. For younger women, they may seem less stylish, but at 58 I absolutely love them. I also bought another pair in Chocolate and a third pair of a jogger style and I love all of them. They run tts. I am 5’5” and 137 lbs and I bought a Medium. I could likely wear a small in the pants, but I really like the loose feel of the Mediums. The whole look and feeling I have wearing them is just completely worth the price!
