Tr1 Mesh 2.0 Water Shoe

I bought these little over a year ago for creek hiking. I had the original TR1 Mesh and loved the feel of them, but with minimal usage they got holes up around the toe box, so I returned them. So I decided to give these updated 2.0 a try seeing the design changes they did. I have wide feet and a bunion on my right foot (my main hiking shoe is Oboz Sawtooth I women's 10 wide), so I absolutely can't have pressure points. I got these shoes in the women's 10 and they were very comfortable, just enough rigidity so I don't feel the rocks as I'm hiking in the creek. They do a really good job of keeping rocks out of my shoes and I get minimal sand in considering they are mesh. I will say with the low profile of the tread if walking in sand then onto rock, they do lose their grip, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to take because they do great on the main features. I also appreciate that once tied they stay tied as well, they drain & dry quickly too. I have wore them quite a number of times, even just regular hiking (10+ miles) and they are still comfortable. if you are size 10.5, these will fit you as well easily as I feel they are just a smidge big for me as a 10.

I just took the TR1 Mesh 2.0 through Buckskin Gulch and Paria Canyon in southern Utah and northern Arizona and these shoes were perfect. In and out of deep water, mud, and loose sand all day, I was thankful for the mesh and drain holes at the toes, and the stability of the sole was the perfect balance of support and ground feel. My previous trail runners would have been too squishy. My feet felt fresh every ~20 mile day. Quality and durability were second to none. Highly recommended over the usual suspects.
