GEL-KAYANO^® 29 Running Shoe (Men)

I have exclusively warn Kayano runners for at least the past 20 years for everyday training, walking, a couple of marathons and at least 15 half marathons. It got to the stage that I did not even need to try them on at the store. I just bought them. The shoe was perfect for me. Last month I bought a pair of Kayano 30 runners. I tried twice to wear the 30s, but found the new design totally unwearable. It was like wearing a cowboy boot -- high heel with a noticeable slope to to the toe. The 30s were super uncomfortable! Of course because I had warn the 30s outside I could not return them. So i ordered two more pair of the Kayano 29 runners directly from Asics. I am super happy with the 29s. My only concern now, other than wasting money on the Kayano 30s, is what happens a year from now when the new 29s wear out.
