Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Skin Defense Primer Sunscreen SPF 50

I wasn't even shopping for primer, just had this used on me as a base while being color matched. Right away my husband commented on how airbrushed my complexion looked and better still, my makeup looked flawless all day. Took home a few samples and every day, the same result, so I went back to buy a bottle. Each spring/summer I struggle with how to address sun protection and with this SPF 50, problem solved. A little goes a long way- let soak in a moment and you'll have a velvety base for foundation (this works great with my Armani Designer Lift). I am now a believer! Armani makes great stuff.

This is my new favorite primer. It's like a primer, sunscreen, and highlighter all in one. I love products that let me cut down the steps in my routine! Sometimes I wear this alone without foundation for a dewy no-makeup look. My only complaints are the high price and the dropper -- a pump would have been easier to use.

This is the most amazing SPF product and primer I've ever used--and I've used a lot of them! I'm very, very pale with freckles, I use glycolic acid peels (read I must wear sunscreen even if I weren't so pale and with a minimum SPF of 30), exfoliate, etc. I have very sensitive skin and most sunscreen products, even high end ones from La Prarie, make my skin break out something fierce. The best thing I had found prior to this product was Olay's ProX Anti-Aging SPF 30 lotion, but I didn't love the texture and feel of it on my skin (but it didn't seem to irritate my skin or cause it to break out, so that was a big plus :) Anyway, a beauty associate tried this on my skin to prime it for the Luminous Silk Foundation, which has no SPF. I assumed it was "OK" (I didn't seem to have any reaction to it and irritation usually starts pretty quickly for me) and purchased it, happy that it had a higher SPF than what I was currently using. What I was not prepared for is what it feels like when you use this product and apply it yourself. My skin is very smooth and clear from using the Arcona skincare line for cleansing and exfoliating. This primer feels beyond silky and smooth when I put it on my skin. It's the best feeling primer I've ever spread over my face. I was worried that I might be allergic to it, but that hasn't been the case. I cleanse my face with the Arcona Toner Tea facial bar, follow-up with Estee Lauder's Micro Essence and Advanced Night Repair Serum, and then I put this on over the serum (I'm not using a moisturizer under this). I apply the Luminous Silk foundation next. My skin looks flawless and glowing all day, and I feel good knowing that I'm using a better SPF product than I previously was. I've also noticed that this primer makes my skin feel softer and even seems to treat it somehow as my skin looks and feels really nice when I take my make-up off, and I know it's not the serum doing that, because I was using the same serum but with the Olay lotion before and not getting those results. Overall, I'm extremely pleased and happy with the product and results. Most primers (even those without spf) irritate my skin and clog my pores. With this, I'm one very happy pale girl with sensitive skin!

Ordered this due to high SPF. I recently started using the maestro glow foundation (which I love )and thought this would be something good to try. Unfortunately, there was a stinging sensation the second I put it on. I left it on for the day just to see how it worked. While the stinging sensation was gone after a minute, I found that my face felt greasy and makeup did not look fresh for very long. I only used a drop or two so it was not that I used too much product. I sent this primer back after first use.
