What it is: A high-shine, high-pigment liquid lipstick with a non-sticky gel texture.
What it does: With the hold of a stain, this liquid lipstick delivers eight hours of hydration. Innovative Armani Liquid Vinyl Technology features the highest concentration of water-soluble pigments, allowing for pure, vivid color impact with maximum long-wear results. The formula is enriched with glycerin for comfortable application and long-lasting hydration.
How to use: For a natural look, apply on the lower lip and gently rub lips together for a subtle touch of color. For a touch of shine, apply one layer over any Armani lipstick as a top coat to bring more shine and reflection. For a statement lip, apply several coats of lacquer to achieve a stain. Wait a few seconds then reapply at the center of your lower lip to create high lasting shine.

Great Look, Poor Wear
Very nice wet. lacquered look, but this not only doesn't stay on, it comes off in g/obs on whatever your lips touch (other lips, dog's face, etc.). Then it stains your lips a color NOT like the color you applied. And VERY drying. My lips are still getting over it 2 days later.

Very nice wet. lacquered look, but this not only doesn't stay on, it comes off in g/obs on whatever your lips touch (other lips, dog's face, etc.). Then it stains your lips a color NOT like the color you applied. And VERY drying. My lips are still getting over it 2 days later.

Good color payoff, but drying
Overall, this is a good lacquer. The color payoff is fantastic and it goes on smoothly. I deducted a star because it did dry out my lips. I had to either reapply or use a gloss to counteract the dryness.

Long lasting, not drying
I love this lipstick. Originally I did not know what shade to purchase, but after reading everyone's reviews, I decided on 502 Boudoir. I apply mine in one coat without rubbing lips together like they recommended, so it stays somewhat neutral and daytime wearable. It lasts 4-6h through eating and drinking; and if that weren't the case, it even lasted 8h one day. When drinking from a straw, this formula does not transfer. There is no sticky texture once it dries, and there is no perceivable dryness while or after wearing it (I put lip balm 15-30 minutes before applying this lipstick).
When I first started looking into long-lasting lipsticks, I bought the YSL Lip Stain. Armani's lipstick seems a slightly better in terms of longevity and moisture. Most of the long-lasting lipsticks or formulas from other brands tend to dry my lips.

Just ok
I was looking for a very reliable lip stain that is comparable to MAC's ProLong wear. The color is gorgeous in night berry but it just doesn't have the stay power of MAC. The smell if somewhat off-putting as well. However, the color is amazing so I just combine it with MAC...I will not buy again, though.

The best!
I tried this lip lacquer thinking that it was never going to be as good as the Chanel product that I was using. It turned out to be my favorite. It stays on the lips for hours even after the shine is gone (which lasts long, too). It is an amazing product. Since ordering my first shade (503), I have ordered 501, 502, 504, and 200. Love them all. Shade 200 is a much more concentrated color than the others and will only be used occasionally.
