Arizona Genuine Calf Hair Slide Sandal

As a fan of both Birkenstock and leopard print, these were an immediate purchase. They got delivered today and I’m so disappointed! The backing of the calf hair is suede, so there’s no structure to the strap at all. They were delivered with no shaping or padding, so the straps are all crumpled and misshapen. The straps look wavy even when worn. I’m sure they would straighten out over time, but I expect a much sturdier leather to support the delicate calf hair. Suede is a whole other vibe that lends itself to a soft, relaxed sandal - which seems to be a contradiction when paired with something fussy like calf hair. The other disappointment is the lack of attention to hair direction - each piece of leather is cut randomly so each piece has a random hair direction! Literally no consistency between each shoe. The hair on the straps of one shoe points down whereas the other shoe is the opposite. Same issue with the side pieces. I’m sure the leather was cut this way to save cost, but for an almost $200 shoe (with tax) I expect a better match between the pair. Overall: cute idea, terrible execution, and I have no confidence these will age well because of these manufacturing decisions. I so love the idea of these but I think I’ll be returning them because ultimately they are not what I expected them to be :(

I’ve been hearing about Birkenstocks for forever. I wasn’t attracted to them until they release this cheetah print. I saw them today and I bought them immediately.

I tried getting these on the Birkenstock website and they were sold out, I can wear either with I’m a true medium. These are the medium narrow size 41 and they are so comfortable. I see why they sold out so fast. They are gorgeous and will last forever I have Birkenstocks that are several years old and still comfortable. This is probably my seventh pair don’t hesitate you can walk for hours.

These sandals look like they would fit anybody, but not so. I wanted so much to like these, but bunions and other foot problems made these sandals difficult to keep on. Had to return.

Loved loved! The print. The fit was great. They looked amazing on. But!!! my biggest complaint. Every time I walked the noise it made. Every step it sounded like farts. It’s silly! To even write this. That’s the reason I returned the sandals. Wish it had the other soft material.

I love these Birks and appreciate their unique design. I’ve received numerous compliments on the calf hair pattern, and the comfort of the shoes is a huge plus. I wore these Birks to a music festival where I was on my feet for about 6 hours, walked over 10k steps, and had no discomfort whatsoever.
