Arden Mixed Media Belted Gown

I purchased 8 different gowns online and this was the only one that gave me goosebumps when looking in the mirror. Gorgeous silhouette and so very comfortable. And it has side pockets!! The perfect dress. My date agreed.

I not only wanted this dress—I needed it for a specific event. Unfortunately, it arrived without the belt. When I contacted customer service, I was given no option other than returning the dress as my size was sold out. When I went to return in store, the associate tried to tell me that the belt wasn't missing and that the style had likely changed since the product photos were taken, which is clearly not the case given that this is the iconic belted Sachin gown. What made the experience even more frustrating was watching the dress simply put back on the sales floor at full price despite telling the associate it was missing a key component. I would have happily kept it had any accommodation been offered, even a very modest discount to allow me to purchase or have a matching belt made.

Elegant and simple.

The dress was beautiful, exactly as I envisioned. However when received; the security tag was still attached and when brought to the store- I was told they didn’t have the ability to remove it. I returned it.. so make sure no tags are attached when you receive it
