Beta Gore-Tex Waterproof Jacket

The product is very well made. The color is wonderful as well. The only drawback is there are no underarm ventilation zippers, but it does keep you dry. Easy to fold up and pack away and washes up beautifully. Thank you for making colorful versions.

Amazing Fit, and even was caught in a large downpour the day it was received. Everything inside the jacket was bone dry. VERY Happy.

My first Beta was stolen after two months. My second Beta is more than 12 years old and when I replaced it, it was still everything I could have hoped for, but I had put on weight and couldn't breath anymore when the zipper was closed. My third Beta AR was dearly loved (amazing colour) and very carefully looked after - but the laminate came apart after only three years with comparatively little use (due to good summers and little outdoor work in the winters) - I am a walking guide and feel like I barely used it! From now on I feel I cannot really recommend this jacket anymore - and I used to recommend it to my guests all the time! For the price that these jackets cost (most expensive item of clothing I have ever owned!) I expect them to last longer! Having said that - it fit well, even with loads of layers underneath, and - until the laminate gave in - it was totally waterproof - and it was beautiful. Shame that it didn't last. I will watch the next Beta AR carefully. If it doesn't hold its promises AGAIN then I will have to find a new brand.

Cheap. And as the whole ARC’TERYX company has gotten so cheap in their products quality and warranty services, I had to go to another company.

I love how this jacket isn’t heavy and is really breathable while still providing the wind proofing layer. I’ve had many rain jackets in the past that just hold in all your heat and are extremely uncomfortable but I didn’t experience that with the BETA.

Bought this for my granddaughters birthday!! She loves it. Send me a video of the waterproofing. Can’t wait to go hiking thru the New Hampshire woods!!
