Atom Vest Early review

Might be a bit early to say, but initial impressions are excellent and I don’t feel I’m going to change my opinion much as time goes on. It helps that a coworker has the long sleeved version and has had it for a few years and wears it constantly!

This ain’t it.

The cut is ridiculously boxy, no internal pocket. Not warm due to not being fitted, blows around in the wind. Collar sucks to layer with. Face fabric feels super fragile. Size L, im 195lb, 5’ 9”.

What’s going on at Arc?

Bought to replace my existing Atom Vest which was one of my favourite pieces and used in mountain huts to the office and everywhere in between... Feels lighter/more fragile than a very well used and abused older Atom, runs a lot larger and no internal chest pocket. Returned and used another brand.

Needs inner chest pocket

Needs to have the inner chest pocket. Without that option the vest is sub standard to the previous version i have.

Needs revision.

The previous version was better. Needs a chest pocket, internal would be fine, and more durable outside shell.
