Garmin launch monitor r10 review
I bought this 2 weeks ago and have done three sessions and it is truly incredible. The data that it gives you from this one camera from behind is not to be believed. I love the fact that you could also film yourself and review your swing with each shot. I could go on and on about how great it is but I hope you get my point with the amount I have set this far, it is truly invaluable.

Questionable numbers
At the moment the yardage is completely off. Way more then the expected 10 yards you can lose using a simulator device. The path numbers are ridiculously off. I’m a solid 12 HDCP know my stock swing pretty good but these numbers have me shaking my head. I’ll try some tweaking with the environment. Hopefully it helps. The plus it’s easy to set up.

Issue for having 2 x R10.
Hi There. I just had my first R10 for checking the unit. it has issue not always registre the hit and the port for power is loose when I use the cable. As it is more than 1 year old there is no guarantee left. So I got the offer to try to fix it but only with 3 month guarantee. That I did not do.
Then I have bought a new R10 as I want to be able to continue using my Garmin for training and I also have bought the year licens "Hero". Now I have the issue thet I can use the "Hero" with my new R10, but not the normal practice driving range etc ?
I also have bought Awesome Golf (I know it is not yours) for life. also there I have issue to connect.
Please advise what to do. I will get my ole G10 back and hope to use it also. So I will have 2 x R10 fro using, but not at the same time.
Best reg Bjorn

A little disappointed
I bought this about a month ago, I connected it to my Garmin app and it updated to the 4.5 firmware before I got to use it at the 4.3. I then found out that it has issues so I never got a chance to check it out at the stable version.

Enjoying the R10
Has been a great addition to the driving range practice. Ball speed is almost exact to the .1 decimal on the gspro indoor.

Approach R10
So far it’s ok. The only issue is the R10 will not pick up swing speeds with my speed sticks. It should pick up swing speeds regardless if I’m using a club or hitting a ball or using speed sticks. If it had that capability I would give it 5 stars.
