Perfect for the slender boy!
My 8 y/o needed a suite for his first communion and the one we originally purchased was too big in the waist (both jacket and pants) and shoulders - it was a regular size 8. This suit is a slim fit and the jacket fit perfectly. My son is 51.5" tall and weighs under 60 lbs (I know - very slender kid), but it fit great. The waist may have been a tad bit big, but nothing like the original suit we purchased, which was also a size 8. Nordstrom did a great job of hemming the length of the pants at the time of purchase - rush job, and we were out in his new suit in 30 minutes. We also purchased a slim button down and a bow tie - went nicely with the suit. Wish I could post a picture of my son in the suit for everyone b/c I honestly cannot describe how happy I am with this purchase.
