Aminah Puff Sleeve Maxi Dress

I'm a size 6 (S) normally, but for this particular brand and dress style I didn't fit into S, M or L. Yes, I bought all 3 sizes just because I loved the style and color. To my disappointment none of them fit well. The zipper wouldn't go up past the waist for S and M. And while it did for L, the bust became super loose, there was way too much fabric, which made the zipper wavy and pop out like a bubble in the back. Sadly, I returned all 3. The fabric and print was beautiful, but overall construction seemed bad, lots of thread hanging out, and the zipper on one was sewn crooked. Would be weary buying anything else from Petal & Pup after this experience.

The zipper always getting stuck in the middle and for the record the dress did not fit me tight. The zipper came undone while I was at an event and it was impossible to fix it. It was embarrassing, I noticed also the fabric having a loose thread in the front ruining the dress all across before all this but I chose to ignore, I wish I had changed. Only wore it 3 times and now it’s in the thrash

I loved this dress. I loved the silky vibe. I’m usually between an XS/S and the XS fit. It was hard to zip where the stretch in the middle was but once you got over that hump it fit like a glove. Just have someone help you!!! It was gorgeous and walking through the city I got so many compliments. If you love it, try it, you can always return in if you can’t get it to work for you. Buy two sizes to try!!
