Amber Musk Eau de Parfum Set $225 Value

This fragrance is quite unusual in that it's rich yet dries light in spite of the amber which can be intense. Aerin's blend is pitch perfect; slightly floral but with a kick - almost orange blossom, yet the amber provides an intricacy and depth difficult to achieve. I'm surprised that this is the first review because to me, amber musk is her most creative and distinctive fragrance. The other fragrances in the line are lovely florals that are easy to wear - amber musk however, is special - very sophisticated and to my mind a dramatic yet very wearable scent for all four seasons. I intend to savor this purchase and hope many of you will as well.

I love Love LOVE warm amber and vanilla scents and they tend to wear well on me as it’s been my usual go-to fragrance. I made a blind purchase online based off of all of the positive reviews on Aerin Amber Musk and the great deals on fragrance sets available around the holidays. Upon receipt, I sprayed one spritz on the inside of my elbow and it smelled awful like decades old spoiled musk and had to wash off the stench immediately. Just don’t understand all the positive reviews this scent keeps getting but I do understand that body chemistry makes a difference, LESSON LEARNED. Try it if you can find it at your local Nordy retailer, seek samples before investing on any scent! It may smell nice on a tester or strip of stock paper but SPRAY IT ON YOUR SKIN to ensure your body agrees with it—great way to test for skin allergies and sensitivities as well. I was banking on loving this as an intoxicating scent on me but it didn’t work out. Imagine the disappointment.
