Ambeo Plus - An Excellent Soundbar...buy it!
After research comparing the Sonos Arc Ultra to the Ambeo Plus, I decided on the Ambeo Plus. The deciding factor for me was that I could use my wired Klipsch sub woofer with the Ambeo Plus. The set up of the Ambeo plus could not have been any easier. I am using the eARC connection from my Sony OLED. I did have to update a couple of settings on the Sony TV to ensure Atmos content was being properly passed to the soundbar. After running the Ambeo calibration routine, the soundbar was ready to go. To test the Atmos soundstage of the Ambeo I watched Apollo 13 on Netflix. Frankly i was blown away. Initially I was very skeptical of the virtual Atmos soundstage. While not perfect, the Atmos soundstage presented by the Ambeo is excellent. Even the dog was looking around the room to see where the sounds were coming from. As stated before, I am using my Klipsch sub woofer with the Ambeo and it works perfectly. However, without the powered subwoofer, the bass being kicked out by the soundbar itself is quite good. The sub woofer enhances the experience, but you really don't need one.
The Ambeo provides a nice array of ports and connection options not included on the Sonos option. Again the sub woofer port is a nice option. The remote control is OK, but I find myself using the phone app more.
The only issues I have with the soundbar are using the Amazon fire cube remote to control soundbar volume. Normally It works fine. The firecube is connected to my Sony TV and the firecube remote is set up to control the volume on the Sony TV. The soundbar is connected via eARC from the Sony TV. The TV sees the soundbar as an audio system and natively controls the volume just fine. Occasionally when using the firecube remote to change volume, the firecube reacts but the volume doesn't change. Seems like an odd fix, but when this happens I click on the mute button on the firecube remote and for some reason the Sony TV "remembers" that its controlling the volume of an audio system. This is a very minor issue. Otherwise I am satisfied. I recommend the Ambeo Plus and I would buy it again.

Great when it actually works.
Sounds great when it actually works, however, constantly having to restart everyday and sound cutting in and out is just not good enough for this product with how much it costs. Don't get me started on the subwoofer either, that thing can't hold a stable connection at all. Just go on the forums and Facebook group and you'll see so many people moaning. Personally Sennheiser should be investigated it's that bad.

Best Soundbar
All I can say is, LOOK NO FURTHER. I shopped for 8 months for surround speakers. I wanted the biggest bang for my buck . These are absolutely amazing. When company comes to watc a movie they are blown away! Literally . You will not be disappointed.

Great sound but buggy
I've had it for 1.5 years now and while it sounds fantastic and overall is mostly a good design, there are a couple big issues. First and primary issue is that I recently started to have to reset it on a daily basis for it to actually play any sound. I would have also liked the option for satellite speakers. There shouldn't be any issues at this price point. But the sound quality is top notch once it is playing and the surround effect is good for no surround speakers (though not as good as surround sound). I also like that it works with Spotify and Google Cast.

Nice Sound
The bar produces a nice sound but not the immersive surround sound it claims. But then I don't have the luxury of being able to place the bar and TV in the middle of a wall in an empty square room. Does not always link with the tv when turned on and doesn't always switch off. Many connection issues when I first purchased the product but recent software updates have reduced some issues. The bass is very good without having to add an addition sub.

Amazing bar, when it works. Too many bugs
Reliability, still lots of bugs for example when turning of the TV, the Dolby Atmos will not activate and restarting from the app will not work, you need to physically reset(plug/unplug) as said here, good when it works, but lots of issues
