Chantelle Lingerie

A pioneer in lingerie, Chantelle was launched in 1949 as a shapewear manufacturer, and began producing bras in 1960. Known for creating the first seamless bra with molded cups in 1972, Chantelle Intimates has grown to become a world leader in French lingerie. The only bra you ever need

This is a serious bra. The support is really strong, which I love. Whenever I look to try a new bra, I always stretch the back to see if it will hold well. Most lower-end bras are just too stretchy and flimsy to provide me with proper support. In this one, the elastic is really strong. The shape it gives you is really classic and great in that it lifts and separates rather then push up and together. Because of that, this is not the bra to wear if you want cleavage. Whenever I try a new bra, it always fails and I always come back to this one. It is worth every penny and more. They also last a long time. It is very flattering to those with a full bust, as I am, but i imagine it fits great on any size.

Amazone not what it used to be

This bra fit well and has nice coverage. I used to wear this style all the time but have been wearing different Chantelle styles for a few years and wanted to try this style again. The Amazone I received had a stay poking through the fabric- it had a rough edge and actually scratched me. The reason I stopped wearing Amazone was because the quality had gone down and the wires were popping on new bras. I still have an old one and the fabric where the stay is used to be much thicker. It's a shame because this is such a good style for larger bra sizes. A bra this expensive should be made well. I returned it and am sticking with the Rive Gauche.

Fits like a dream

I am so, so tired of hunting for bras that fit correctly and I feel like I will search no more. A large chest made worse by 25 lbs of unnecessary weight has made finding a bra that fits, doesn't cut your shoulders, doesn't roll in the band, and actually defines 'two' breasts like finding water in the desert.

Best ever bra for a large bust

When Oprah did her bra show, I went to Nordstrom’s. I asked the salesperson to recommend a bra for me. She recommended the Chantelle Amazone bra. I am forever grateful to her. This bra lifts and supports me like no other bra, plus it’s comfortable. I wear a 38DDD.

Amazoe 2101 is great

All Chantelle bras are great, but the Amazone is the best. The cups are big enough that the wires actually go against my chest. The thing to know about all Chantelle bras is that they run a little small. I order up one size. If you are a C, order a D. If you are a 36, order a 38. These are also the most durable bras that I have ever worn. The lacy tops are an added delight that most large size bras don't have.

Favorite Bra for large "girls"

I wear a 32 DD and this is my favorite bra. It completely covers the "girls", supports well, is pretty and the lace pattern doesn't show through the clothes. It fits true to size, is made very well and I just can't say enough good things. Once you are larger than a D good bras are few and far between, but this one is amazing - I am going to order more!
