Amarante Bateau Neck Maxi Dress

This is a cute, lightweight piece of clothing, but I would not call it a dress. It is completely open all the way down the sides- no side seams at all from the armpit all the way to the ankle. It's really more of a kaftan or coverup. Even if I tied the sash around my waist, the slit on the side goes all the way up.

This is a wonderful tunic dress!!! The colors & print are extremely flattering (received a lot of compliments) it’s so light weight so ideal for warm climates. Like previously mentioned it’s two pieces connected by interior back ties and side front ties that you can see, you have a lot of versatility on how tightly or loosely you tie this. It doesn’t fly open at the sides on me but similar to side slits. I think this also depends on body type / size for reference. I’m a size 2 and around 120 pounds and originally purchased the size small but there was a lot of extra fabric (generally I’m a size small in Doen dresses) but sized down to the XS which was perfect for me. If you’re curvier I would I say stay true to size since the extra fabric will be nice to have.
